The story takes a turn when Gary encounters Madison, who wants to hire him to deal with her oppressive husband. The remote cabin in the forest, the quiet of the forest and the darkness surrounding the cabin, combined with the use of lighting and sound, amplify the sense of isolation and vulnerability.
